Ahoy has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
The app is exclusively for people aged 18 and over. Every user declares they are an adult before first use, and the Terms of Use expressly prohibit use by minors.
Creating, sending, requesting or distributing child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualising minors, and any contact with a person who is or appears to be a minor for such purposes are strictly prohibited.
In the app: on the person’s card, tap “!” in the top corner and choose “They appear to be under 18”; in a conversation, tap “⋯” → “Report” → “They appear to be under 18”. Once you confirm, the person is blocked and a report record is created that the app offers to email to us.

In immediate danger: 112. For illegal content online in Greece you can also contact the Cyber Crime Division (11188, www.astynomia.gr) or the SafeLine hotline (www.safeline.gr).
We review every such report with priority. Because Ahoy has no server, content does not pass through us and we cannot remove it from users’ devices. When we receive information about potential CSAM or child exploitation, we pass it without delay to the competent law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them, in accordance with Greek and EU law.
The protection tools in the app (immediate blocking, reporting, Exit) are always free.
